Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Posty. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

This document is provided in English. A Latvian translation may be made available; if so, the English version remains the authoritative version in case of any discrepancy.

Who runs Posty

Posty is operated by Toms Siļķe, an individual based in Latvia. Contact: hello@posty.win.

What Posty is

Posty is a software service that helps padel clubs manage sessions, tournaments, registrations, and member communications, including integration with WhatsApp groups. Posty is provided as software-as-a-service through the website at posty.win.

Your account

To use Posty, you need an account. You may sign up using a Google account or by requesting a sign-in link sent to your email.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others
• Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised

If you are between 13 and 17, you may only use Posty with the permission of a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly allow accounts for children under 13.

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

How clubs and roles work

Posty is used by padel clubs to organize their activities. When you join a club on Posty:

• A club administrator may add you to the club, assign your role (player, coach, or administrator), and set or update your skill rating
• Your name, role, and rating may be visible to other members of your club
• Club administrators have access to your registration history and activity within their club
• You can leave a club at any time by contacting the club administrator or by deleting your Posty account

By joining a club on Posty, you accept that the club's administrators will manage your role, rating, registrations, and other operational details within their club. Posty is not responsible for decisions made by club administrators about how to operate their club, including decisions about ratings, removals, or membership.

What you may not do

You agree not to:

• Use Posty for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to the service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
• Use the service to harass, harm, or impersonate others
• Submit content that is offensive, defamatory, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service without our written permission
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without our permission

Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit through Posty (for example, your name, your registrations, any text you enter). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use, display, and process that content as necessary to provide the service to you and your club.

You are responsible for the content you submit. You confirm that you have the right to submit it and that doing so does not violate anyone else's rights.

WhatsApp integration

When your club uses Posty's WhatsApp integration:

• Posty operates a WhatsApp account that is added to your club's WhatsApp group(s) by a club administrator
• The bot may send automated messages to those groups (for example, registration notifications)
• The bot may receive direct messages, but is not designed for two-way conversation and may respond automatically or not at all
• Use of WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp's own terms of service and privacy policy

The WhatsApp integration relies on third-party infrastructure that is not officially supported by WhatsApp/Meta. We do our best to keep it stable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Service availability

We aim to keep Posty available and working well, but we don't guarantee specific uptime, performance, or freedom from bugs. We may need to take the service offline for maintenance, updates, or due to issues with our providers (Supabase, Vercel, Railway, WhatsApp).

We may modify or discontinue features at any time. For significant changes, we will give reasonable notice where practical.

Pricing and payment

The pilot version of Posty is provided at no charge during the pilot period. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we will give you advance notice and an opportunity to accept new terms before any charges apply.

Termination

You may stop using Posty at any time. To delete your account, contact us at hello@posty.win or use any in-product deletion option we provide.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or pose a risk to other users or to the service itself. Where reasonable, we will give you notice and an opportunity to address the issue first.

If your account is terminated, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy.

Liability

Posty is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of data, profits, revenue, or opportunities
• Issues caused by third-party services we rely on, including WhatsApp/Meta, Google, or our infrastructure providers

Nothing in these terms limits liability for matters that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, gross negligence or fraud).

If you are a consumer in the EU, your statutory rights are not affected by these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Latvia. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Latvia, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. For material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service. Continued use of Posty after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
